AltaMed Health Services Corp. is hiring a Dental Assistant to support dentists and dental hygienists in delivering primary dental care at clinics or mobile oral health units. The role also handles sterilization, instrument and supply preparation and inventory, and infection control in patient-care areas. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, board-approved Dental Practice Act and X-ray/infection-control coursework, BLS certification, and, for mobile-unit assignments, a valid California driver's license and DOJ/FBI clearance. Coronal polishing certification is required, while accredited dental assisting training and English/Spanish bilingual ability are preferred. The position pays $25.00 per hour and includes medical, dental, and vision insurance.
