Description
Multnomah County is hiring a Dental Assistant (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) to support dentists and dental hygienists in delivering dental care to underserved populations in Multnomah County. The role includes four-handed dentistry, rubber dam placement, impressions, prophylaxis, sealants, amalgam polishing, temporary restorations, operatory setup, infection control, patient triage, appointment follow-up, and customer service. Candidates must have the equivalent of a high school education, a valid Oregon Expanded Function Dental Assistant certificate with radiologic proficiency, and BLS CPR certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days. The position pays $27.08–$32.94 per hour and is eligible for overtime.
