The Navy is hiring an Expanded Function Dental Assistant for the Defense Health Agency-Atlantic Network at the Naval Branch Health Clinic, Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, Virginia. The role performs expanded-function dental assistance in complex restorative, prosthodontic, oral surgical, endodontic, and hygiene treatments, including oral prophylaxis, charting, radiography, instrument preparation, equipment maintenance, and restoring teeth with permanent and temporary fillings. Applicants must be United States citizens, complete one year of acceptable dental training or work, have one year of specialized dental experience, obtain and maintain Secret-level clearance eligibility, and meet specified medical, security, drug-testing, immunization, and physical-examination requirements.
