Description
The Dental Assistant I assists dental providers with patient care, including preparing patients and instruments, assisting during procedures, taking histories and vital signs, exposing radiographs, providing oral hygiene and postoperative instructions, performing coronal polishing and fluoride application, scanning for prostheses, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, specialized training, at least one year of relevant experience, BLS certification, background and drug screening, and required immunizations.
