The employer is seeking a department head for Software & Systems to lead the transformation toward Software-Defined Vehicles and Software-Defined Defence. The role provides technical and disciplinary leadership, manages personnel planning and resource allocation, implements engineering roadmaps, oversees software and system development projects, coordinates with specialist departments and external partners, and represents the department in strategic reviews. The position is based at the Kassel site and requires an engineering degree, extensive SDV/SDD experience, interdisciplinary team leadership experience, embedded-systems and AUTOSAR knowledge, and strong German and English skills.
