Description

Swoop Technologies is seeking a Deployment and Test Engineer to join their team. This role involves coordinating and executing software deployments across various environments, implementing CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting deployment processes, automating tasks, ensuring version control, performing post-deployment testing, and providing support to the development team. The engineer will collaborate with Product and DevOps engineers to deliver successful technical outcomes for mission-critical customers.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 3-5+ years experience delivering, integrating, or operating technology solutions in DoD network environments (deployment, release engineering, or related roles)
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience writing and/or readability in Python, C, Rust, or Assembly code.
Scripting experience in Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc
Knowledge of one or more of the following environments: Distributed Systems, Embedded Systems, Bare Metal environments, Hardware Virtualization
Understanding and experience administering operating systems (RTOS, various Linux flavours, and Windows)
Knowledge of databases and database deployment strategies
