Amazon is hiring an experienced Deployment Engineer to lead first-time deployments of advanced automation technologies, including conveyance, sortation, and robotics systems. The role owns the deployment lifecycle from planning through go-live, manages on-site installation, commissioning, and validation, coordinates cross-functional teams and vendors, and develops documentation that converts initial implementations into scalable procedures. The position may be based in Barcelona, London, Luxembourg, Madrid, or Milan, with approximately 60% travel across Europe during peak deployment season and occasional international travel. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or relevant work experience, experience in systems engineering or related technical fields, Linux experience, and programming or scripting experience.
