Description

TELUS Health is hiring a fully remote Deployment Specialist in Canada for its Application Delivery Team. The role owns deployment and support across cloud and on-premises environments for retirement and benefits solutions, including Windows Server and IIS administration, SQL Server database operations, Active Directory, PowerShell automation, Azure infrastructure, migrations, troubleshooting, client IT support, and technical documentation. It requires a bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience and 3–5+ years of relevant infrastructure or systems administration experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: 3–5+ years of infrastructure and systems administration experience
Windows Server 2012–2019 installation, configuration, management, and IIS administration
SQL Server administration, T-SQL, SSRS, backup/restore, permissions, and script deployment
PowerShell, VBScript, CMD, and SQL scripting
Active Directory or LDAP administration
Microsoft Azure infrastructure experience
Understanding of N-tier application architecture
Preferred Qualifications: Octopus Deploy or Azure DevOps Pipeline
Azure serverless, Azure Container Instance, Kubernetes, and Docker
AWS and Google Cloud Platform familiarity
