California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) is hiring a Deputy Chief Information Officer & Information Security Officer to serve as the principal deputy and senior administrative leader for Information Technology under the AVP/CIO. The role provides leadership continuity, oversees major IT operations and organizational functions, drives strategy execution and organizational change, and serves as the university’s Information Security Officer with responsibility for security governance, risk management, compliance, incident response coordination, and security awareness. This is a full-time, on-site management position in Monterey Bay, California, requiring a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, progressively responsible IT leadership and administrative management experience, supervision of professional staff, and experience in technology operations, information security governance, organizational change, or risk management.
