Description
The Deputy Court Clerk supports the Elko Justice & Municipal Court by handling public reception, filing and reviewing legal documents, managing mail and supplies, recording payments, initiating and monitoring criminal and civil cases, issuing warrants and summonses, preparing court minutes and orders, maintaining records, and reconciling court funds. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a Nevada driver’s license, a valid or obtainable Notary Public appointment, bondability, and the ability to work independently in a high-stress court environment.
