Description
The County Courthouse Deputy protects the courthouse and annex, officials, employees, and patrons; conducts searches and foot patrols; operates security screening equipment; arrests violators; responds to alarms and complaints; investigates crimes; assists other law enforcement; provides bailiff and prisoner-transport duties; and monitors surveillance and inmate movements. The role is non-supervisory and requires Basic Peace Officer and Jailer certification plus at least one year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
