Description
Wabtec is hiring a Deputy Engineer in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, to direct and oversee scheduled, unscheduled, heavy, and wreck repair maintenance of 4500 HP and 6000 HP locomotives. The role includes maintaining work scopes, timelines, costs, quality, documentation, safety, and compliance with local regulations and customer safety policies. Candidates need a diploma in engineering or applicable technical training, 5–7 years of locomotive or rolling-stock maintenance experience, Microsoft Office experience, shop-environment experience, and willingness to work rotating shifts. Technical experience with locomotive engines, bogies, brake systems, traction motors, and control systems is desired.
