Description
The Sheriff's Office is hiring a Deputy I to perform general law enforcement duties, including apprehending and arresting violators, investigating complaints and criminal incidents, patrolling assigned areas, gathering evidence, responding to emergencies, providing first aid, serving process, and testifying in court. The role requires completion of Florida Basic Police Recruit School or a comparable certificate, a valid Florida driver's license, physical and psychological qualifications, firearms proficiency, and the ability to work varied indoor and outdoor shifts, including holidays and weekends.
