Description
The Johnston County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for Deputy Sheriff, a law enforcement role performing patrol, crime prevention, civil and criminal paper processing, traffic control, court bailiff duties, investigations, public service, and school resource officer work. The position requires working knowledge of law enforcement procedures, state and federal laws, court processes, firearms, self-defense, court testimony, reporting, and community relations, with high school completion, law enforcement training or experience, and a Basic Law Enforcement Certificate or equivalent education and experience preferred.
