Description
The Orange County Sheriff's Department is recruiting Deputy Sheriff Trainees for an open eligible list intended to fill current and future positions. Applicants must meet education, licensing, age, legal, background, and physical requirements, pass a written exam, physical agility test, and structured oral interview, and complete a background investigation. Successful candidates will attend a 28-week P.O.S.T.-certified academy and, upon completion, be promoted to Deputy Sheriff I. The recruitment is open for at least five business days and remains open until the department's needs are met.
