Intel is hiring an experienced Design Automation Engineer to develop and maintain Loihi's asynchronous EDA tool flow, including design automation algorithms, software tools, utilities, regression tests, and custom scripts for synthesis and physical design. The role supports RTL, verification, and physical design engineers and enables early software development through scalable simulation and FPGA-based emulation frameworks. Candidates need a bachelor's degree with 4+ years or a master's degree with 2+ years of silicon design tool experience, extensive ASIC tool experience, scripting expertise, and multiple tape-out experience; AI-driven automation and large-scale FPGA or emulation experience are preferred. The role is an experienced hire with a hybrid work model and an annual salary range of $122,440 to $232,190 USD across United States locations.
