Chariot is hiring a Design Engineer to own the quality of its web application and user experience, partnering with Product and Design from concept through launch. The role builds polished, accessible, and performant interfaces using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS; translates Figma designs into production-ready interfaces; develops reusable components and design systems; and leads initiatives improving usability, performance, accessibility, and frontend architecture. The position is based in the New York City office, with in-person work Monday through Thursday and work-from-home on Fridays.
