The City of New York is hiring a full-time Assistant Civil Engineer for its Design Unit - Various in LIC, New York. The role reports to an Engineer-In-Charge and involves preparing contract documents, specifications, and final estimates; conducting engineering investigations; developing contract plans and working drawings; performing field surveys; compiling reports; participating in engineering reviews and studies; and designing projects with minimal oversight. Applicants must have a civil engineering baccalaureate degree plus one year of full-time satisfactory experience, or a baccalaureate degree plus a civil engineering master's degree, and must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.
