Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer will support the installation and integration of Cummins engines and related systems into customer equipment, developing CAD models, drawings, and bills of materials; collaborating with Application Engineering and cross-functional teams; ensuring packaging, cooling, serviceability, and safety requirements are met; participating in design reviews and engineering change activities; and supporting prototype builds and validation efforts. The role focuses on off-highway industrial power units and OEM custom design engineering, requires a bachelor's degree in an appropriate STEM field or equivalent experience, and is intended for an entry-level or early-career professional.
