Description
The Mold Design Engineer designs and develops plastic injection molds using 3D CAD software, reviews customer part data, creates detailed mold drawings and assemblies, collaborates with toolmakers, project managers, and customers, performs mold flow analysis and design-for-manufacturability reviews, supports engineering changes, and maintains design documentation. The role requires at least five years of related experience, an associate degree from a two-year college or technical school, and familiarity with GD&T and engineering drawing standards; a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred. The stated salary is $65,000 to $95,000.
