Exa is hiring a Design Engineer to design and build developer-facing experiences across its product, playground, documentation, website, and brand. The role combines visual and interaction design with front-end development, moving from early prototypes through production implementation without a traditional design-to-engineering handoff. Candidates should have at least four years of software design and development experience, a portfolio of interactive products or prototypes, strong visual and interaction design skills, and fluency in Figma, React, TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and reusable components.
