Gaylor Electric is hiring a Design Engineer to lead preconstruction design and BIM coordination for electrical projects. The role develops and reviews constructable, code-compliant design and installation drawings; performs electrical calculations; resolves spatial and installation issues through 3D coordination; supports operations and field teams; and mentors Virtual Design team members. Candidates need at least two years of VDC-related experience, strong Revit and 3D coordination skills, electrical drawing and NEC knowledge, and proficiency with Autodesk tools. A high school diploma or GED is required, while a relevant bachelor’s degree, Revit certification, and relevant electrical industry experience are preferred.
