Description
HYDAC is hiring a full-time Cartridge Valve Design Engineer at its Schaumburg, Illinois facility to support the development of hydraulic cartridge valves, including solenoid, pressure control, directional, and proportional valves. The role involves creating engineering drawings and documentation, managing parts and assemblies in PDM and ERP/MRP systems, collaborating with internal customers and vendors, and addressing manufacturing, design, and quality issues. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a two-year technical degree with at least two years of relevant work experience, fluid power design experience is advantageous, and the position requires CAD proficiency, simulation knowledge, hydraulic principles, and the ability to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship. The salary range is $85,000 to $105,000 per year, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, paid time off, and continuing education benefits.
