Description
IKEA is hiring a Design Engineer for its Textile Platform team to develop and document engineering solutions for home-furnishing textile products, including fabric constructions and accessories. The role involves using simulation tools and a strong verification approach, collaborating with internal and external teams, and supporting IKEA’s material and Rage strategy goals. Candidates need at least three years of hands-on experience with fabrics and textile products, a university degree in Textile Engineering or equivalent, knowledge of textile production and materials, and experience with Windchill or similar systems and textile CAD tools. The role is based in Älmhult and requires office attendance for the majority of working time.
