Mabey Hire is hiring a full-time Design Engineer in Glasgow to produce and check temporary works designs for excavation support, propping, formwork, and falsework. The role involves preparing designs, reviewing drawings, attending client meetings, visiting sites, managing workload, and contributing to continuous improvement. Candidates need at least three years of temporary works design experience, a civil or structural engineering HND or degree, CDM 2019 knowledge, and AutoCAD or REVIT experience; experience with cofferdams, building refurbishment, formwork, falsework, temporary works suppliers, or contractors is preferred.
