Description
Restate is hiring a Design Engineer to own the core Restate UI and adjacent product areas, combining design decisions with production-ready code. The role focuses on developer-facing interfaces for execution timelines, retries, queues, state, failures, large data sets, live updates, filtering, search, charts, and scalable design systems. Candidates should have production front-end skills in React, TypeScript, and modern HTML/CSS, a portfolio of shipped work, strong information and data-intensive interface design abilities, front-end performance expertise, motion and design-system capabilities, and the ability to read backend code and use AI. The role is remote in Europe preferred, with US remote available for exceptional candidates, and includes minimal travel and occasional team offsites.
