Description
The Design Engineer will design, develop, and optimize aircraft parts and assemblies, including primary and secondary structural elements. The role involves creating and modifying 3D models, preparing and updating technical drawings and specifications, analyzing modification requests, resolving technical issues, supporting production and engineering teams, and contributing to quality procedures. The position requires at least five years of relevant professional experience or a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with two years of experience, along with analytical, teamwork, adaptability, and initiative skills. Aircraft structural experience is an asset, while CATIA V5 is preferred for design and modeling software.
