Description
The Lead Piping Engineer will prepare equipment and foundation layouts, skid and plant 3D models, PFD/PID reviews, piping layouts, isometrics, civil guidance drawings, bills of quantity, support spacing, clash reports, and compliance reports. The role also participates in 3D model reviews, supports shop problem solving, and leads a group of engineers. Candidates need a mechanical or mechanical engineering degree, 7–10 years of mechanical design experience in water, power, oil and gas, or a related industry, and knowledge of relevant steel and piping materials.
