The role produces design and construction drawings and specifications, completes design tasks within budget and schedule, communicates with project managers and senior engineers, secures permits, prepares sketches, and prepares quantities for cost estimating. Candidates need at least four years of CAD drafting and design experience for civil land development projects, a vocational certificate or two-year degree in civil technology, and strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills.
