Description
The Design Engineer will perform engineering design and takeoff computations for multiple projects, coordinate with internal and external design disciplines, prepare construction documents and specifications, and support construction administration activities. The role requires BIM/CAD software, hand and computer-based calculations, plumbing and HVAC design, equipment sizing, code interpretation, and strong communication skills. A bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an ABET-accredited university is required, while Engineer in Training certification is preferred. The work is primarily office-based and requires mobility and the ability to move materials weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally.
