Description
The Soft Goods Design Engineer will lead the full lifecycle development of textile-based life-safety products for rope rescue, rope access, work-at-height, and technical rescue applications. Responsibilities include product design, prototype fabrication and sewing, structural and dynamic testing, technical documentation, manufacturing and supplier support, design reviews, and cross-functional leadership. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or design discipline, at least five years of product development experience including soft-goods development, CAD proficiency, hands-on prototype fabrication, and experience with engineering testing and manufacturing packages.
