Amazon is hiring a Design Engineer/Project Manager for its EMEA low-voltage structured cabling infrastructure team. The role standardizes structured cabling and server-room designs, reviews design proposals and vendor bids, coordinates supply chains, manages budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations, and mentors design consultants and contractors. It requires extensive ICT and structured-cabling experience, project-management capability, and knowledge of networking, WiFi, AV, security, PDU, UPS, and smart-building technologies. The position is office-based with 20% travel throughout EMEA.
