Description
Carrier is seeking a Design Engineer (System Design) to lead the development of air conditioning and heat pump systems for new product development. The role covers system architecture and control logic, performance analysis and validation, cost analysis, testing and lab validation, project scheduling, quality and reliability, standards compliance, and technical guidance to cross-functional teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, 0–5 years of HVAC, air conditioning, or heat pump system design experience, knowledge of thermodynamics and control logic, and strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.
