Description
The Design Engineering Manager leads the design, implementation, analysis, and development of connectorized products and systems, while managing the Design Engineering team and coordinating with Product Management, Application Engineering, Operations, Sourcing, Quality, and suppliers. The role owns product requirements, manufacturability, cost, quality, schedule, compliance, testing, validation, dual-sourcing, and continuous improvement, and includes coaching engineers, managing the engineering portfolio, and supporting supplier and customer visits. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 8 years of progressive product-design experience including 3 years in technical leadership or people management, and proficiency with CAD/CAM, PDM/PLM, ERP, and Microsoft Office. The position is full-time and eligible for hybrid work.
