Description
The Design Manager will manage AECOM’s Design Management team and support team leadership, including business development, performance reviews, financial processes, invoicing, project planning, mentoring, quality and compliance reviews, and project delivery across the United Kingdom and internationally. The role also manages sub-consultants, contracts, cash-flow projections, invoices, and financial reporting, while establishing design-management procedures for scope, programming, deliverables, quality, budgets, approvals, meetings, and coordination. Required competencies include design-process knowledge, project and design programming, design-management tools, communication, commercial awareness, construction knowledge, and proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and InDesign. The position offers hybrid work options and requires in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office.
