Description
The Design Quality Engineer will perform design reviews on newly created and released engineering packages, identify and correct inspectability issues, create first-article inspection datasets, manage sampling plans, and use digital-thread tools to model quality impacts on production and schedules. The role focuses on Lockheed Martin’s LM Aero Air Mobility & Maritime Missions line of business, including C-130J and derivative platforms, and may support other lines. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, metrology and product-verification experience, and experience reviewing technical data packages and engineering designs; AS9100, GD&T, PLM, CATIA, and related experience are desired. The full-time salary range is $70,500 to $130,900, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, and other benefits.
