Description
The Design Release Engineer will own the design, release, and launch of vehicle system components and assemblies from concept through production. The role coordinates with design, validation, procurement, manufacturing, suppliers, testing, and other vehicle subsystems; establishes cost, weight, performance, and quality targets; manages 3D CAD and technical drawings; supports root-cause analysis; leads design reviews; and contributes to cost reduction and prototype or production builds. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 10 years of relevant experience, and 10+ years in chassis product development, with a California base pay range of $65–$70 USD.
