WSP is hiring a Design Studies Engineer - Technical Director with an Electrical Studies emphasis to lead electrical studies projects for utility and industrial/commercial clients. The role involves analyzing generation, substations, transmission, and distribution systems; coordinating and approving design plans; maintaining client relationships; mentoring and supervising team members; and managing complex, multi-project engineering work. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience, 12+ years of relevant post-education experience, a professional engineering license or equivalent, and strong leadership and communication skills. The position is based in Boise, Idaho, with remote candidates considered for several other locations, and offers an expected annual salary of $139,800–$267,700 in most locations and $163,800–$$278,400 in Colorado.
