Description
The Engineering Design Technician will support civil engineering projects by planning, evaluating, designing, and implementing improvements in civil, environmental, construction, and industrial fields. The role involves using CAD and design software, analyzing drawings and survey data, preparing engineering reports, performing cost calculations, coordinating with project managers, architects, contractors, and engineers, and monitoring project progress. The position requires beginner-level engineering software knowledge, basic civil engineering principles, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel to project sites; a Civil Engineering degree is preferred, and a Professional Engineering license is not required.
