Mithrl is hiring a Design Technologist to bridge design, engineering, and artificial intelligence for complex biological knowledge systems. The individual contributor will lead frontend work on knowledge graphs, ontologies, AI-native query interfaces, high-fidelity prototypes, UI architecture, design systems, and AI-assisted design-to-code workflows. The role requires strong frontend expertise in React, TypeScript, and CSS, along with visual and interaction design experience, and is based in San Francisco with in-person work and comprehensive PPO health coverage.
