Description
Apple is hiring a SoC Verification Engineer in Cupertino, California and other unanticipated locations throughout the United States. The role designs and architects verification specifications, develops test plans, test cases, coverage plans, and verification methodology, and collaborates with design, architecture, and software teams. Responsibilities include verifying SoC, IP, and subsystems such as neural-engine hardware, DRAM and memory controllers, codecs, hardware security, high-speed I/O, power management, cache management, and display subsystems, using SystemVerilog, UVM, simulation, formal, coverage, C/C++, waveform, scripting, and version-control tools. The role requires a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus three years of experience in the offered or related occupation and three years of experience with each listed verification skill. The base pay range is $174,149 to $225,300 per year.
