Description
Apple is hiring a Hardware Verification Engineer in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the United States. The role involves understanding design specifications, extracting attributes, developing UVM-based tests and sequences, verifying RTL correctness, debugging failures with waveform analysis and log files, collaborating with design engineers and EDA vendors, developing coverage models and assertions, and using C/C++, Perl, or Python for embedded CPU verification and system modeling. The position requires a master’s degree in a relevant engineering field and extensive experience with hardware verification languages, UVM methodology, constrained random testing, digital logic, chip architecture, AMBA protocols, System Verilog Assertions, and coverage modeling. It is a 40-hour-per-week role with a base pay range of $150,400 to $225,300 per year.
