Howmet Fastening Systems is hiring a Designer I in Fullerton, California to design forming, cutting tools, jigs, dies, and fixtures for fastener and fastening-system production. The role involves creating sketches, layouts, and detailed drawings; preparing documentation; optimizing tool designs; managing tool-change-control records; and collaborating with engineering, shop-floor, and quality teams to resolve tooling issues. Candidates need 3–5 years of tooling design experience in aerospace, automotive, medical, or related high-volume manufacturing, proficiency with GD&T and SolidWorks, and the ability to create 3D models and detailed drawings.
