Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories is hiring a Designer Intern in Houston, Texas, for summer full-time or school-year part-time work. The intern will create physical and electrical designs, bills of materials, job estimates, CAD or Microstation drawings, and project documentation; provide low-level engineering support; and construct relay equipment racks for testing. Candidates should be current students pursuing an EET, CAD, drafting, or related degree and demonstrate CAD drafting competence. The role pays $21.00 to $22.50 per hour.
