Ford Motor Company is hiring a Senior Lighting Designer for its design studios in Dearborn to develop conceptual and production lighting solutions for advanced and production projects. The role involves creating sketches, renderings, and 3D digital models; coordinating design personnel; translating customer needs and global trends into lighting visions; and collaborating with engineering, suppliers, and other partners. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in industrial or transportation design, at least four years of automotive or transportation design experience, strong 2D-to-3D visualization skills, and a design portfolio. The position is hybrid, with possible onsite work four or more days per week, and offers a base salary range of $86,600 to $166,200.
