COS is hiring a full-time permanent Designer for its Runway team in London. The role leads the creative development of a category each season, translating research into distinctive ready-to-wear designs and guiding concepts through draping, mock-ups, fittings, and final product. The Designer will collaborate with Design, Buying, Pattern Cutting, and Product Development; develop collection architecture and commercial relevance; and mentor Assistant and Junior Designers. The position requires experience in womenswear design for luxury or premium fashion brands, strong knowledge of silhouette, proportion, fabrication, construction, and finishing, and a portfolio demonstrating research, concept development, and finished product.
