Description
Excis is hiring a Desktop Support Field Engineer (also described as a Band 1 Desktop Technician) in the Milton Keynes area. The role provides first- and second-level local and remote desktop support, handles inbound calls, troubleshoots hardware, software, and application issues, maintains tickets, performs preventative and remedial repairs, and supports Windows, Mac, printer, and network connectivity issues. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field, at least 18 months of IT experience, English communication skills, onsite work, and residence in the Milton Keynes area; 2–3 years of Windows desktop support experience is preferred.
