Description
The Detection Engineer will design, implement, test, and continuously validate detection capabilities for a Cyber Defense Capabilities team and CSIRT. The role covers SIEM detection logic, regression testing, breach and attack simulations, threat-intelligence integration, MITRE ATT&CK mapping, false-positive reduction, SOAR automation, purple-team exercises, and SOC metrics. It requires a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field, at least two years of relevant experience, and expertise with SIEM, detection engineering, scripting, cloud security, and SOAR. The role is office-based with at least three days per week in the company’s facilities and offers a base salary of EUR 61,200–EUR 101,900 plus a 3% short-term incentive.
