Description
Dropzone AI is hiring a Senior/Principal Detection Engineer to lead AI-driven detection engineering and product development for security operations. The role focuses on prototyping and improving an AI agent that generates detection content, building autonomous detection workflows, encoding detection expertise into software, establishing detection quality and lifecycle practices, and researching emerging threats. It requires 5+ years of detection engineering experience, expertise with major SIEM platforms, knowledge of endpoint, cloud, identity, network, and SaaS telemetry, and familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and adversary emulation. The position is 100% remote with occasional professional travel and offers a base salary of $200,000–$250,000 USD plus equity and benefits.
