MANTECH is hiring a Cyber Detection Engineering Lead to lead cybersecurity detection and response capabilities in McLean, Virginia, with onsite work. The role develops detection rules and signatures, tunes SIEM and security analytics pipelines, creates SOAR playbooks, automates threat intelligence and alerting, integrates security tools, maps detection logic to MITRE ATT&CK, analyzes logs and Windows internals, and collaborates with incident response and customer teams. Candidates need a high school diploma, at least seven years of cybersecurity experience, Python or similar automation experience, SIEM experience, MITRE ATT&CK knowledge, and an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. The projected compensation range is $141,500 to $236,000, with health insurance and other benefits.
